That octocrylene products are tainted by benzophenone questions the overall safety of these products for public use.
In Hawai‘i, State Senator Mike Gabbard, Chair of Agriculture and Environment Committee, introduced new legislation for 2021 that seeks to amend Act 104 by including octocrylene products being banned from sale, along with oxybenzone and octinoxate sunscreen products.

Hawaii issued the sunscreen ban bill 2778 in order to ban a further
14 harmful ingredients by law from the FDA list.
No later than effective by 10/2023.
I. = GRASE* for use in sunscreens Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide
II. = Not GRASE** for use in sunscreens
Aminobenzoic acid (PABA) and trolamine salicylate ( 2 ingredients )
III. = ***Insufficient data for use in sunscreens ( 12 ingredients)

Why does the Europen Commission ignore such studies which have been published world
wide? Okay the last revision was in 2009. We gained more knowledge about the harmfull
imputs + we have the "EU green deal" commitment. So it's time to: Walk the talk!
The summer time is due to come. Thounds and thounds of people will use again and
again suncare products with such harmful ingredients
- octocrylene . oxybenzone . octinoxate - .
Just to mention 3 of them . Its time to produce, sell and use far better
alternative products for our mankind health, the martime life, oceans and mother earth.
If our law systhem is still sleeping - its time for a wake up call!
